Meet the People behind AFPOB
Our Board of Directors, Board of Trustees and staff are in charge of the day to day running of the organization.
Donna Corbat
Chairman of the Board
Donna Corbat has been a dedicated supporter of the American Friends of the Paris Opera & Ballet (AFPOB) since 2014 and serves on our Board. She has played a pivotal role in major events, co-chairing the 40th Anniversary Gala in November 2024 and the Opening Gala of the Paris Opera Ballet’s 2023–24 season. Beyond AFPOB, Donna has co-chaired the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation galas and the U.S. Ski Team & Snowboard Association’s 2017 Gold Medal Gala. A passionate philanthropist, she supports AFPOB, the U.S. Ski Team, Camp Sunshine, and Empowers Africa—where she serves on the board and has produced two documentaries. Donna and her husband, Mike, both avid skiers, are co-owners of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
A native of Smyrna, Georgia, Donna attended Georgia Southern and Georgia State Universities. She resides in London and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and enjoys traveling and outdoor adventure.
“I look forward to my continued partnership with our incredible Board to bring fresh perspectives and new ideas. There is great excitement about the positive impact this can bring to AFPOB.”
