All of us here at the American Friends of the Paris Opera & Ballet are looking forward to an exciting Fall Season, especially AFPOB’s annual gala, which will take place at the French Consulate in New York on Wednesday, November 8th.
We would love for you to join us for this festive evening celebrating opera and dance at an intimate soirée in the Consulate’s beautiful reception rooms featuring cocktails, a delightful dinner and a musical interlude performed by two singers from the prestigious Paris Opera Academy and from the Lindemann Young Artists Development Program.
The gala will raise funds to support the Paris Opera’s 23/24 season, specifically two productions featuring American artists, offering the opportunity to anchor the importance of furthering French American friendship and cultural exchange through the arts, a production of Bellini’s Beatrice di Tenda directed by Peter Sellars and the Paris Opera Ballet’s hommage to Jerome Robbins.
In addition, this year we will support an inspiring new project of the Paris Opera Academy, the creation of the Youth Orchestra, an orchestra created to share the love of music with all young people, as well as diversify the composition of the field and open up professional horizons for underprivileged students, while also contributing to their personal development.
Your generosity will be recognized in all of our communication material and as a member of the Benefit Committee. Individual tickets range from $1,500 to $5,000 and tables from $25,000 to $55,000. (See details below*)
