Paris Opera Resumes Performances and Adapts to Curfew as of December 15

Further to the latest government announcements setting out the conditions for the reopening of performance venues as of 15 December, the Paris Opera is delighted to inform you that its programme and the schedules for its forthcoming productions have been adapted so as to end at 9 p.m. at the latest. Spectators are reminded that their tickets entitle them to a special dispensation to travel home after performances, in accordance with the curfew regulations and subject to future changes to these regulations.

PLEASE FIND BELOW THE INFORMATION CONCERNING PERFORMANCES IN DECEMBER 2020:

  • La Bayadère at the Opéra Bastille:
    – 15, 18, 21, 24, 26, 29, 30 December, and 1 and 2 January: starts at 6 p.m. instead of 7.30 p.m. (duration 2 hours and 50 minutes with 2 intervals, estimated end at 8.50 p.m.)
    – 26 December: starts at 1 p.m. instead of 2.30 p.m. (duration 2 hours and 50 minutes with 2 intervals, estimated end at 3.50 p.m.)
    – 27 December: starts at 2.30 p.m. (duration 2 hours and 50 minutes with 2 intervals, estimated end at 4.20 p.m.)
  • Carmen at the Opéra Bastille, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28 and 31 December
    Starts at 6 p.m. instead of 7.30 p.m. (duration 2 hours and 55 minutes, with 1 interval, estimated end at 8.55 p.m.)
  • La Traviata at the Opéra Bastille:
    – 17 and 23 December: starts at 6 p.m. instead of 7.30 p.m. (duration 2 hours and 45 minutes with 2 intervals, estimated end at 8.45 p.m.)
    – 20 December: starts as planned at 2.30 p.m. (duration 2 hours and 45 minutes with 2 intervals, estimated end at 4.15 p.m.)
  • Classes en scène at the Palais Garnier with the students of the Ballet School:
    – 19 December: start at 10.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. (duration 1 hour and 30 minutes without an interval, estimated end at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. respectively)
    – 20 December: new performances at 10:30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. (duration 1 hour and 30 minutes without an interval, estimated end at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. respectively).
  • The Academy concert Du Singspiel à l’opéra-comique at the Palais Garnier will take place on 15 December instead of 12 December. Starts at 7 p.m. instead of 8 p.m. – duration 1 hour and 30 minutes, estimated end at 8.30 p.m.
  • The Academy concert De l’opérette à Broadway, un air de fête on 17 December at the Palais Garnier
    Starts at 7pm instead of 8pm – duration 1 hour and 30 minutes, estimated end at 8.30 p.m.
  • Concert-rencontre on 17 December at Studio Bastille :
    Starts as planned at 1 p.m. – duration 1 hour, estimated end at 2 p.m.
  • The recital by Julie Fuchs on 18 December at the Palais Garnier
    Starts at 7 p.m. instead of 8 p.m. – duration 1 hour and 30 minutes, estimated end at 8.30 p.m.
  • The concerts by Les Arts florissants on 21 and 22 December at the Palais Garnier
    Start at 7 p.m. instead of 8 p.m. – duration 1 hour and 30 minutes, estimated end at 8.30 p.m.
