A Thank you Video from the Paris Opera Ballet dancers from home #StayHome #ThankYou

[Covid-19] The Dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet created this video, edited by Director Cedric Klapisch, to pay tribute to the medical staff and all the workers helping during the Covid-19 confinement.

The Dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet created this video, edited by Director Cedric Klapisch, to thank the medical staff and all the people helping during the Covid-19 confinement: Doctors and all nursing staff, but also farmers, professors, researchers and laboratory assistants, shop keepers, supermarket staff, handlers, garbage collectors, truckers, delivery men, postal workers, firefighters, soldiers, police, logisticians, journalists, switchboard operators, network technicians, teleworkers, volunteers…

It is a film sometimes without a cameraman, without a sound recorder, almost without a camera. It’s a film made entirely with telephones and the means at hand.

This short film is a civic gesture to say that if we can bring a little something to the collective effort with our skills, we must do it …

Everyone is confined but even if time has stopped we all want to say that life does not stop.

This film shows that whatever happens we will continue to dance to live and create …”

Cedric Klapisch, French Film Director

April 2020 – Three videos realized during confinement by the Paris Opera Orchestra, Paris Opera Chorus and Paris Opera Ballet to pay tribute to all the workers helping during the outbreak.
